Marilyn Monroe travels to England to co-star in Laurence Olivier’s “The Prince and the Showgirl.” She is dealing with an “illness,” a pill addiction and a troubled marriage to playwright Arthur Miller. Laurence Olivier has no patience for her diva attitude and has much trouble directing her.
A pretty solid biopic about a short slice of Marilyn Monroe’s life and her brief friendship/relationship with Colin Clark. Michelle Williams is very good as Marilyn Monroe. Very glamorous. Worth a watch.
