It's Ethan Hawke's first day as a narcotics officer. Denzel Washington is a detective for the LAPD who works outside of the law. Denzel puts the rookie through all sorts of shit including making him smoke PCP. This movie was pretty intense and moved along at a really fast pace. Really good movie.
