Terrence Howard is Djay, a drug dealer and pimp who dreams of becoming a rapper. He hustles to get the money to pay for the equipment he needs to make his music. He and his producers orchestrate a plan to get their demo tape into the hands of a famous rapper from their area. This was a very good movie about following your dreams. The characters are strong and the movie is paced to give them room to breathe.
