Alvin Straight finds out his brother he hasn't seen in 10 years has suffered a stroke so he sets out on a trip on a riding lawnmower to visit him. Based on a true story. David Lynch was just coming off of directing Mulholland Dr. and this is the exact opposite of that movie, but will most likely be enjoyed by many of the same people. Really, a great movie.
