IMDB

Edward Norton stars as a delusional cowboy living in the San Fernando Valley. He meets an underage girl named Tobe and falls in love with her. Tobe has a sheepish brother and a semi-abusive father.
Down in the Valley begins as a love story, but about half way through it really takes a surprise twist and the romance ends. I really don't want to ruin it, because it would lessen the impact of the movie. All you need to know is that there is gun play.
I really enjoyed this movie greatly. It's a bit dark and the second half is pretty tense. The collage shots of the Valley are whimsical.

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
