Blood and Donuts is the story of a vampire who hangs out at a local donut shop. He starts to crush on the counter girl. He becomes friends with a cab driver, Earl, who begins to sleep on his floor. The vampire in this story mostly sucks the blood from rats and pigeons instead of humans. He's a vampire with morality.
The vampire's ex-girlfriend is hunting him down. She's mad because he didn't grant her eternal life, so she tries to kill him. Also trying to kill him is Earl's associates, some neighborhood tough guys. They are mobster types, but I don't think they are quite in the mob.
Very good vampire movie. The characters are interesting, as is the story. The friendship between Earl and Boya, the vampire, is nice, since usually vampires only hang out with other vampires. I liked this movie quite a bit.
