Nicolas Cage is a chemical expert for the FBI. He is called in to go on a mission when a bunch of marines seize control of Alcatraz, take 81 hostages and threaten to shoot missiles loaded with poison gas at San Francisco. Cage is teamed up with Sean Connery, who plays a man who escaped from Alcatraz.
Cage and Connery are joined by a group of killable agents. They agents are soon killed, leaving Connery and Cage to diffuse all the missiles and to save the hostages.
Fun and outlandish action movie. Cage and Connery are both great in their roles. Michael Bay made this shit so you know that the explosions look nice.
