This is one of the first kung fu movies I ever loved. I bought it because it was released by the Wu-Tang Clan's kung fu video series.
A young man goes to a kung fu school and becomes friends with the school's cook. The cook shows him some kung fu and sends him off to a chess master. As this is all going on the Ghostface Killer is murdering a bunch of people. It all leads up to the young man fighting the Ghostface Killer.
Not as great of a movie as I remembered. There are some really cool and inventive scenes, like the young man trying to snatch the rice bowl from the cook. It's a pretty standard kung fu movie, otherwise. The fights are a bit choppy.
7.5/10
