IMDB

Jason Statham is back as the Transporter. This time he's the chauffeur for the Billings family in Miami. He has bonded with their 6 year old son. On a trip to the doctor's office, the child kidnapped. We learn that the child has been given a virus that is then contracted by his father. His father is a politician and is attending a drug conference, the idea being that he'll give the virus to everybody. The transporter has to kick everybody's ass to get the antidote and save the day.
This movie was just as fun and action-packed as the original. The addition of the kid is a little lame, but the movie doesn't dwell on him. One of the bad guys is this model-looking blond. She is the most anime-looking character in the movie. The scene where her and Statham fight is cool, but a bit short. There's a ton of ridiculous action scenes that are Jackie Chan-esque. By that I mean Statham is kicking objects at people and using his surroundings as weapons or for cover.

7.5/10

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
