IMDB

Walter Matthau is dating Goldie Hawn. She thinks that he has a wife and three kids, but he actually doesn't. She tries to commit suicide when he breaks a date with her, leading him to propose to her when he discovers he has real feelings for her. Matthau plays a dentist, and talks his assistant (played by Ingrid Bergman) into portraying his wife and telling Hawn that she wants a divorce. The web of lies begins to get extremely sticky.
This is one of the better romantic comedies that I've seen. It's very apparent that it was a play before it went to the screen. Hawn and Bergman are both excellent and sexy in their own ways. Goldie is so young (in the opening credits it says 'Introducing Goldie Hawn'). Matthau is hilarious as always. Recommended if you're up for some light entertainment.

I think I fell asleep during the end of this movie, but what I stayed up for I really, really liked. I'd like to see it again before 11 p.m. and not after a long day at work....

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
