IMDB

In the twenty years since Die Hard came out, there hasn't been a single Christmas movie that even comes close to touching it in terms of quality, Christmas spirit, feel good-ness and body count.
Bruce Willis stars as John McClane, a New York police officer visiting his wife and children in Los Angeles. He gets stuck in the office building his wife works in with a bunch of German terrorists. He takes to the vents and fights maybe twenty (according to the poster it's twelve) terrorists single-handedly.
This really is a Christmas movie, I'm not just saying that to be a jackass. Sure, there's a lot of gunfights and Bruce Willis makes smartass quips every 15 seconds. Regardless, it is a feel good movie, in a way. I'd rather watch this than any other Christmas flick. Very well directed, well written and Bruce Willis kicks ass. This is probably in my top 50 movies of all time (maybe top 25 even).

10/10

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
