IMDB

Orson Welles is an Irish immigrant who finds himself working for Rita Hayworth and her rich elderly husband. He soon is asked to kill the rich man's partner, by his partner. The idea is that Welles just signs a note saying he killed him, they fire a gun and the guy disappears and collects his insurance money. Things get complicated.
A pretty decent movie, but it starts off really slow. After Welles begins working for Hayworth, things begin to pick up. There are constant plot twists, making this a well above average film noir.
The one thing this movie proves to me is that Orson Welles can make a better film Noir than Stanley Kubrick, and is probably an all-around better director. Kubrick has a few classics to his name, but none can touch Citizen Kane (obviously).

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
