IMDB

This is another movie about making a movie. Generally these kinds of movies piss me off, but this one is an exception.
It opens with a couple long dream sequences. One in which Steve Buscemi can't get a take right (which is pretty funny). The other is from the lead actress in the film (played by Catherine Keener), who feels like she's not cut out to be an actress. After that we go to them actually making the movie, which is sort of like a combination of the two dreams in ways.
Pretty interesting movie, slightly comedic and fairly enjoyable. This movie skates past the line of bad movies made about movies, do to the good character development, great acting and excellent directing. This one will be especially interesting to those who would like to make a movie (like myself).

7.5/10

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
