Anna Ferris stars as Shelley Darlington, a Playboy bunny who has been forced to leave the mansion on her 27th birthday. She was orphaned as a child and has never had a real home, so she becomes the den mother (or whatever they're called) of a sorority house. The sorority is predictably nerdy girls who are secretly hot. Yet this movie is less offensive than She's All That.
On the surface this movie seems like the kind of movie that would be nothing but an awful offensive affair like Sorority Boys, but not only is it funnier than Sorority Boys, it is far less offensive. Anna Ferris is a good comedic actress who usually doesn't get in good movies (save for Smiley Face). She is working as hard as she possibly can to make this movie funny. At times it even is funny, surprisingly.
This movie is not a good movie, obviously. It is slightly better than average. Just slightly. Thanks mostly to Anna Ferris and Emma Stone. Tom Hanks' son is also in this.
