John Wayne plays a marshal who takes a man who won a duel against the son of a judge. The man runs and through a series of events Wayne recaptures him and teams up with him to take out some "savage Indians."
This is a good old Western. Not quite the grittiness of a spaghetti Western, but not that far removed either. This is the first John Wayne movie I have ever seen, so I have no comparison in terms of his movies. I can say this, though: the scene where Wayne gets drunk with Lee Marvin is great.
