IMDB
There is a drug epidemic in Detroit. The new wave drug nuke coupled with an ongoing police strike is making Detroit an even more unsafe place to live. The head of the OCP is trying to create a new, more psychotic Robocop, to replace the police force and help them take over the city.
When Robocop meets up with the gang that is creating nuke, they ambush him and take him apart. OCP takes in Robocop and loads him with new directives. Robocop now stops and talks instead of shooting. When Robocop hears that electricity can cure him he shocks the shit out of himself.
Robocop 2, the OCP's new version of Robocop, is created from the dead leader of the nuke gang. Robocop and Robocop 2 have an epic fight, with Robocop coming out on top, but still unable to stop OCP in their tracks.
While this is definitely a flawed movie, it's still pretty fun and has some good action scenes. The original Robocop is a classic and this one falls pretty short comparatively.
Robocop 2 is still a decent sequel, which maintains a lot of the tone of the original film, but takes out much of the social satire, with the exception of the hilarious commercial parodies. If you like the original Robocop, you defintely need to watch this flick.
