A Night in Casablanca (1946)
Directed by Archie Mayo
Written by Joseph Fields and Roland Kibbee
IMDB
The Marx Brothers are once again employed at a hotel. Groucho is brought in to manage a hotel in Casablanca, where a treasure is hidden.
This is one of the last Marx Brothers films and actually a pretty solid film. This movie followed the awful Big Store. It's nice to see the Marx Bros. getting in another solid film under their belts before they stopped working as a group. If I remember correctly there aren't any musical numbers minus the usual Harpo and Chico performances.
8/10
