This Razzie winning movie has one of the worst titles in film history. It is really not all that bad, though.
First Blood is a classic tale of a Vietnam veteran who is pushed too far by some local police. First Blood Part II is about the same Vietnam veteran, who is jailed, going back to Vietnam in order to take pictures or something or other at an abandoned POW camp. Here's the twist: the camp is not abandoned and is actually still full of POWs. This pisses Rambo off and he kills just about everybody.
The message of the first film is pretty much lost on this sequel, but it is still a decent popcorn action flick. The action is fairly ludicrous, and sometimes gets a little boring, but overall it is fairly watchable and entertaining. This would be a good video game.
My girlfriend (of 6 years) gives this movie a 7, but I give it a:
