IMDB
Sally Field stars as "America's Sweetheart," soap opera star Celeste Talbert. A rival star wants her out of the picture so she can take over the spotlight. Yet, all of her plans seem to blow up in her face and make Sally Field even more popular. Kevin Kline, Robert Downey Jr., Elisabeth Shue and Garry Marshall also star.
I had been wanting to watch this film for a long time. I have no idea why, as I never watch soap operas. I did not even know Sally Field was in it, but she is probably my favorite actress, so it was a very pleasant surprise. The cast is really great, and there are many great comedic moments. The point of the movie is that real life is like a soap opera. Definitely worth watching if you like Kevin Kline, Sally Field and Elisabeth Shue.
