IMDB

Through murderous actions, an evil samurai must face off against those looking for revenge.
The samurai in this film is a real monster, but he’s also pretty badass.  It all starts when his opponents wife comes to him and sleeps with him to insure that her husband will win their match.  Her husband finds out and divorces her.  Then the samurai kills him, runs off with his wife and is waiting for his brother to show up to seek revenge.
A great movie.  Very beautifully made in stunning black and white.  Tatsuya Nakadai is excellent in the lead role.  Definitely worth watching.

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
