IMDB

I had the urge to watch this film the other day.  I was completely bored and had no idea what to do with myself.  All of a sudden, I felt like watching "Earth Girls are Easy" was the thing to do.  Why?  I have no clue.
Geena Davis stars as a woman who has recently caught her fiance cheating.  Then three aliens land their spaceship in her swimming pool.  Of course, she instantly starts hanging out with them and takes them to get haircuts in order to look "more human."  Oddly enough, they look exactly human.  Hijinks and musical numbers ensue.
My memories of this film are fond, but this movie stinks.  There's a couple of saving graces (Juilie Brown's "Cuz I'm a Blond" song in particular), but overall this movie is just not very fun.  There's a scene in a club that seems to go on forever.  Michael McKean shows up as the pool cleaner bro.  He's pretty decent.
This film is very skippable.  Why even bother?  I wish I hadn't.

5/10

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
