A college student is given an old car for his birthday. He is not too thrilled with it, because it’s too old to use to get pussy. Then he finds out it can fly. He becomes a super hero and gets some pussy.
“Black Lightning” is an okay movie. It’s nothing special, unfortunately. You would think a Russian movie about a flying car would be notable, but it really is not. The special effects are great. The female lead is beautiful. I don’t know about the performances, since I do not speak Russian. They seemed fine to me.
The final showdown was actually pretty good. This is yet another PG-13 action movie, but this time it has a sci-fi, super hero leaning that makes it a little more tolerable. It isn’t very violent. It also isn’t very exciting or funny, although I don’t think it was trying to be too funny. I would not recommend this movie to anybody, but there is a group of people who would like this. They are not the kind of people I would want to associate with.
