An 18 year old girl about to go away to college and her younger (15ish) brother decide to meet their sperm donor father. They have lesbian mothers who each accepted sperm from him and had a baby. When one of the moms starts doing some landscaping for him, they start an affair, which could rip the family apart.
This movie is a great drama/comedy. A very natural mix of the two genres. It deals well with real issues. The ending is odd. Julianne Moore is superb.
