IMDB

As Sarah’s family is taken away by French police during WWII, she locks her brother in a closet.  During her imprisonment, she repeatedly tries to get free, until finally her and another young girl escape.  The film flashes back between that story and a journalist writing an article about it.  She becomes obsessed and finds out that her in-laws moved into Sarah’s apartment.  She tracks down Sarah’s family.
A very interesting film about a historical event and with a fictional narrative.  I enjoyed it.  Not a feel good film, but a good film.

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
