The titular winged serpent gets little screen time in the first hour of this tale of Egyptian sacrifice and wife abuse. Although, when Q does get screen time the cheapy effects are very laughable at times and impressive at others. John Carradine plays a douche bag cop and his foil, a wife beating lowlife, is played very goofily by Michael Moriarty. New Yorkers freaking out in the street as the monsters attack is played out pretty well. I ended up not liking this movie as much as I thought I would, but I'd be willing to watch it again.
