Budget: $25,000,000
IMDB

Kim Basinger stars as Jessica Martin, a woman who gets kidnapped and pieces together a broken phone in order to get ahold of anyone. Chris Evans is the recipient of her call in the midst of doing menial tasks to win back his ex-girlfriend.
After he goes to the police he is soon chasing the kidnappers himself. He's tied to the phone because if he hangs up or service gets cut there's no way for him to call her back.
I was not a fan of Phone Booth, which is a very similar movie (Larry Cohen, the writer of Phone Booth, came up with the story for Cellular). Phone book was filled with unfunny stereotypes and was focused on a single spot. In Cellular very little boundaries are set, and the protagonist is a hero instead of a villainous business man.
I found Cellular to be fast-paced and very able to hold my attention. It's definitely the kind of slightly cheesy movie I enjoy.
The director of this movie, David R. Ellis, directed Final Destination 2 (My favorite FD movie) and is set to direct the fourth installment.

8/10

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
