Edward Norton stars as Bruce Banner. When he gets angry he turns into the Hulk. He destroys stuff.
That's basically the movie. It moves a lot faster than the horrible Ang Lee Hulk movie. Really, to me, slow pacing can really kill a movie.
TIH has a plot: Bruce Banner is in South America working in a cola factory. The army comes after him and he goes back to the U.S. He runs into Liv Tyler, who is his deep crush. Liv Tyler looks fucking weird these days, but still hot.
Bruce and Liv Tyler go on the run so Bruce can try to get a cure. Her father is the evil general, who injects Tim Roth with a serum hoping to make him a super soldier. The power, inevitably goes to his head. Later he gets turned into a Hulk-like creature with the help of a scientist. Hulk and Abomination (Tim Roth) fight it out in New York.
A really great super hero movie made all the better by comparison to the shitty Ang Lee version.
Upon second viewing (on a tv, not in the theater): Still a really good movie. I didn't love it quite as much as I did upon my first viewing. I almost liked it as much as Iron Man, but I'd have to say now, Iron Man is by far better. The Dark Knight is still the best of the '08 super hero movies, but that's on a different level altogether.

8.5/10

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
