Paul Verhoven's follow-up to Showgirls is a war movie where a bunch of douche bags fight giant bugs. Perhaps you won't find the cast to be quite as douchey as I.
We see Neil Patrick Harris, Denise Richards and Casper Van Dien go through school, join the army (the one that fights giant bugs on different planets) and go to war. Also, the guy on Saved by the Bell who steals Kelly from Zach is in this and he steals Denise Richards from Casper. He's one of the douchiest actors I've ever seen.
The idea behind the movie is to mirror devastion and casualties humans are causing to what those caused by the insects. It's basically the same cliched war story, but with really good special effects (for 1997, at least).
I liked it, but the opening with them at school was a bit long, and the entire movie was too long because of it.
