Jean Grey isn't dead. She's risen from the lake where everybody thought she died. She kills cyclops. The X-Men find her and take her back to the School. She starts throwing shit around with her mind and then begs Wolverine to kill her, which he doesn't.
Magneto is searching her out. Professor Xavier is searching her out. They come to meet with her at the same time. She freaks out again and this time she kills Professor X. Magneto takes her with him.
Somebody has found a cure for mutation. Magneto is building an army to stop them. They have a showdown with the X-Men at the facilities where the cure was created. Many mutants are cured or killed by Jean Grey.
I knew that this movie wasn't going to be on the level as the first two X-Men movies. It wasn't. Brett Ratner is no Bryan Singer. The movie was not bad, though. It was fun and pretty fast paced.
I heard earlier today that they were making a movie called X-Men: The First Class, and that could be really awesome. I'm glad to see the X-Men get to make more movies.
7/10
