IMDB
48 Hrs. is a buddy movie about a cop (Nick Nolte) who partners up with a criminal (Eddie Murphy) serving jail time for 2 full days. They are searching out some cop killers. Eddie is searching out his money that the cop killers are also after.
Decent action buddy movie. It's played pretty straight, though there are a few laughs. There's a few good action scenes. There's also a band playing in a bar that Murphy is in that plays two full songs. That kind of seemed like filler.
This is Eddie Murphy's first movie and it's better than a lot of the movies that he is currently putting out. I didn't love this flick, but it was good enough. I'm going to watch Another 48 Hrs. because I have nothing better to do with my time right now.
