Murphy is a cop that just switched to the Detroit precinct, where there has been a rash of cop killings. He and his new partner, Anne Lewis, end up in a chase and shoot out with the notorious cop killers. They end up shooting the living shit out of Murphy.
Omni Consomer Products (OCP) bring Murphy back to life as the Robocop. The only problem is Robocop somehow manages to remember how he died. He goes out to get the men responsible for his death.
Robocop is a great movie. One of my favorites. It's got a little bit of everything in it: nudity, gore, guns, robots, explosions, walking on water. I watched the theatrical version this time, but next time I'm going to watch the superiour directors cut.
