Buckaroo Banzai is an adventurer, surgeon, physicist and "hard" rock star. He drives a car through the 8th dimension, leaving an opening for a group of crazy ass aliens to make an attempt to enter the 8th dimension themselves. Lots of craziness ensues.
There's a lot going on in this movie. It's a lot of fun and is definitely a cult movie, although it has some major actors. Buckaroo Banzai is played by Peter Weller (motherfucking Robocop) and that right there sold me on this movie. If I ever make a movie I will write it with Peter Weller in mind as the lead. There's some alien killing in this movie, I figure I'd warn you in case you're sensitive to such things.
