I watched this movie on my Xbox360 through Netflix thinking it was All of Me with Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin. Luckily, it was a much better movie than that one and I had somehow not seen this before.
Steve Martin is the best brain surgeon in the world. One day he hits uber-bitch Kathleen Turner with his car. He quickly gets her to the hospital and performs surgery on her. They marry, but she won't have sex with him, yet she'll have sex with nearly anybody else. They go on a trip for a brain surgery convention. Another brain surgeon invites Martin over to see his new technique of putting the thoughts of one brain into the body of a gorrilla. Martin is telepathically linked to one of his brains and falls in love with it.
This is a hilarious and fairly raunchy comedy. Kathleen Turner looks really good in this and there is some nudity. The jokes are often absurd. Merv Griffin's cameo is hilarious and wonderful. The ending gets a little crazy, especially the brain transferring scene where Martin is bouncing around like a pinball.
