Kevin Smith finally strays away from his classic characters Jay and Silent Bob in a movie that I would be willing to watch. Not only that, but I did watch, hence the review.
Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks star as Zack and Miri, roommates who can't pay their bills. They decide to remedy this by making a porno. The conflict being that Zack is secretly in love with Miri.
This is a movie about making your first movie, more than anything. It's got all the grossout humor you'd expect, and the typical Kevin Smith good cast. Good acting, good directing and a good story. Entertaining, but not mind-blowing.
