Jason Statham returns as the master driver, Frank Martin, for yet another outing. The premise is pretty good: Frank and a girl are put into Frank's car, but can't go more than 75 feet from it otherwise they explode.
While the plot is good, there is one fundamental problem: the editing. It is horribly choppy, especially during the fight scenes. It is hyper-stylized. This is not good, just annoying. The directing is very good, although at times corny. The editing remains the biggest problem.
The action scenes are pretty good, minus the choppiness. There is one fight scene where the choppiness actually works, but it still would have been better if it was at least slightly less choppy. That's just my preference.
I loved the first and second Transporters, but this one was just okay. At times extremely irritating and at times awesome. I could give it a lower than 5 rating, but since there were moments where I actually had some level of enjoyment I'll go:
5.5/10
