IMDB

Francis Ford Coppola transforms what could have been a romantic comedy disaster, into a sweet, sometimes sad comedic tale.
Kathleen Turner stars as Peggy Sue, a recently divorced woman, who goes to her 20 year high school reunion. Her husband, played by Nicolas Cage (Coppola's nephew), recently left her for a younger woman. When she is elected the queen of her reunion she gets lightheaded and passes out. When she wakes up she's back in high school, but she remembers the future.
This is a nice movie. It's not amazing, but it's a movie that has a heart. It could have very easily turned into a steaming pile, but Coppola turns it into a sweet little comedy that as times is heart-wrenching.

7.5/10

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
