Written by Harvey F. Thew and John Bright
IMDB
Mae West stars (and wrote the original play) as Lady Lou, a bar singer who all the men love. A former lover, Chick, escapes from jail and comes to see her.
This was a short movie. It was barely over an hour. This movie was made very early in talking movies, and the editing techniques are pretty shallow.
Still, the movie itself is interesting enough. Cary Grant has about 5 minutes of screen time, nothing significant. This is Mae West's movie. Not a very funny "screwball comedy" as Netflix had it listed as.
6.5/10
