IMDB
Buster Keaton stars as the son of a steamboat captain. He meets his father for the first time, but he and his father don't seem to get along. Keaton is in love with a woman, who happens to be the daughter of a rival steamboat captain, who is stealing all of Keaton's father's business.
This is one of the very few silent films I have watched. I'm not a huge fan, really. There were a few laughs in this movie, and I know my opinion on it is not a popular one. Even at slightly over an hour, this movie seemed to lack direction. I'll cut it some slack, though, because it was made in the late 20s and is silent. The climax is really great. Also, the music in the version I watched was pretty bad and gave me a headache.
7/10
