Bringing Up Baby (1938)
Directed by Howard Hawks
IMDB
Cary Grant is a paleontologist who is about to get married. He's trying to get a million dollars from an old lady for his museum. Katherine Hepburn is also trying to get that money, and seems to have a crush on Grant. When a Brontosaurus bone is stolen by Hepburn's dog and her pet leopard gets loose, they team up to find the animals and the bone.
This movie suffers greatly because it's in the early days of film. I never expect a movie made before 1940 to be technically impressive or pulled off right. This film features the two protagonists talking over each other for most of it. It works at first, but about 3/4 of the way in I got bored with it. It was an okay movie at best with some good acting.
6.5/10
