IMDB
Scientists find a piece of a prehistoric reptile when drilling deep into the Earth. They find out that the piece regenerates itself, meaning that they soon have a giant dinosaur that's going to destroy everything.
This movie starts off with some funny fake science ridiculousness, but it soon peters out into the monster destroying shit and getting fired by the army for a long time. The special effects are awful, but made me laugh a few times. Not as good as I was hoping. Giant monster movies are great generally, but this relied very heavily on the science nonsense.
