IMDB

A dorky guy is heading to college and is modeling himself after a film he has seen about a college hero. He does a jig when he meets people, spends money like crazy and joins the football team. The student body mocks him behind his back and pretends to like him just so they can mess with him. Only his friend Peggy truly likes him.
Harold Lloyd is hilarious in this classic silent film. There are many hilarious scene, including one where he offers to buy ice cream and people keep joining them as they walk by and Harold becomes more flustered.
The visual quality of this film is pristine. Harold Lloyd retained the rights to most of his films and kept great care of them. The score is also really great. I don't know if it's the original music that would have played in the 20s theaters, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was.
This is a great film and a real slice of film history that people should be more aware of.

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
