IMDB

Ginger Rogers plays Polly Parish, a clerk at a department store who just got a notice that she won't be employed after the holidays. During lunch she sees a woman dropping a baby off at an orphanage. She goes to check on the baby and is mistaken for the mother. She tells the orphanage where she works and leaves. They go and talk to her boss, who tells them that she has just been fired. They think this is the reason she dropped "her" baby off at the orphanage and get her boss to agree to giving her job back to her so she can take care of her baby. Her boss, played by David Niven, delivers to her the baby and she is forced to take care of it. The boss begins to spend some time with her.
Ginger Rogers and David Niven are great in this light, well-made romantic comedy, which is actually funny unlike most modern romantic comedies. The premise is funny and works pretty well. Watch it if you're in the mood for something light and funny, but not overly silly.

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
