IMDB

Harold Lloyd is a young man from the country. He moves to the big city to become a success so he can marry his sweetheart (Mildred Davis). He gets a job at a department store. He overhears his boss saying that he would offer $1,000 to anybody who could draw people to his store. Lloyd remembers that his friend can climb buildings, so he organizes an event. His friend has had some run-ins with the law and when time comes to climb the building, the police chase him away, leaving Lloyd to climb the building himself.
This is slapstick comedy at its finest. Harold Lloyd climbing the department store is amazing and hilarious. The film is loaded with gags, and they still hold up nearly 90 years later. The print of this movie is crystal clear and beautiful. That alone would make this worth watching just from a film history standpoint, but this is a great movie. Watch it.

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
