IMDB

An outbreak of mad cow disease leads to a zombie infestation. A man in his early 20's is traveling back home to Columbus, OH to see if his family is still alive. He runs into Woody Harrelson, who is traveling away from Florida. Then they bump into two scamming young women, one 12 the other a 20-something. The man from Columbus is attracted to the older girl. They fight zombies and travel, mostly travel.
I was so ready to like this movie. I really wanted to. I love zombies and I love comedy. I love Shaun of the Dead. This movie is no Shaun of the Dead. This movie is very light on the zombies. At most there's about 30 zombies on screen at once. The most terrifying part of zombies is that there are so many of them. The other terrifying thing about zombie movies, being confined within a space with limited objects to kill zombies with, is also taken away. There are very few awesome zombie kills, and some are too special effects driven. Not very good, but a few laughs.

5.5/10

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
