Broken Lizard keep making movies no matter how little people want to see them. I was pretty desperate for a comedy to watch and I guess I've seen nearly every good modern one.
A group of waiters working at a restaurant, owned by a Mike Tyson-esque boxer, called the Slammin' Salmon compete to see who can bring in the most tips. Things pretty much stack up predictable, as this movie is obnoxiously telegraphed.
While there are a few laughs throughout, this movie is a huge piece of shit. Broken Lizard are clearly funny, they just can't get ahold of a funny premise to save their lives. Super Troopers is one of those movies that worked, even if it shouldn't have. This is not one of those. Broken Lizard seem to be bandwagon jumpers. They look for a type of movie that is coming out already and then they also make one.
If I were you, I'd pass on this one.
