Tom Hanks plays Joe, a hypochondriac, blue collar worker and schmuck. He "hasn't live a day in his life" and, when diagnosed with a brain cloud, decides to jump into a volcano for money. He gets the money to live it up before jumping into the volcano. He meets Meg Ryan and they somehow fall in love. Plus, Abe Vigoda is a Pacific Islander.
Not bad for a silly romantic comedy. It actually sticks more to the comedy than the romance, which is definitely nice. This movie has more luggage jokes than your average film.
