IMDB

Woody Allen tells two stories: one of his character's family and the other about radio. The radio stories very loosely come together. His family story never really converges too much with the radio stories.
A great film. I would say this is one of the few Woody movies that would be suitable for children. I have no idea if kids would like it since it is not about baseball, but it is a very good film.
I'm interested in old-time radio. It was much more interesting than what is now being offered over the airwaves. Now all of the radio stations are owned by the same few companies and play nothing but "the hits," rather than putting something people might be interested in hearing on. Radio is competing with television now, only in theory. I would hardly call what they do competing. Not that this has much to do with the movie.

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
