A Nightmare on Elm Street is easily the most accidentally homoerotic horror movie I have seen. I personally don't think that's a bad thing; it's just really funny and gives the movie a weird tone.
The main character is living in Freddy Krueger's ex-girlfriend's house and is becoming possessed by Krueger. He is basically sleepwalking and murdering people, except that Freddy is doing it, but sometimes everybody sees Freddy (like when he jumps out of the ground). None of that really matters, though.
I cannot help but love these kinds of dumb horror movies. I actually just purchased all of the A Nightmare on Elm Street movies. While I like this movie, I could see where somebody would not. If you want to see a nude man get brutally towel whipped by Freddy Krueger, then this is the film for you.
I wish I would have reviewed this film when I watched it a week ago, because there are some other notable and homoerotic scenes that should be mentioned.
