Singin' in the Rain (1952)
Directed by Stanley Donen and Gene Kelly
Written by Adolph Green and Betty Comden
IMDB
This film uses the transition between silent films and talkies as a parallel for the transition between black and while and color.
The musical numbers are good, but some are unnecessary and drag the movie down a bit. The non-singing parts are fantastic and funny.
How much am I supposed to say about this film? It's great, go see it.
