IMDB

A young boy, Hugo, lives inside a train station, fixing the clocks.  He is caught trying to steal a toy mouse by a shopkeeper, who takes his notebook.  Hugo befriends the shopkeeper’s granddaughter, and together they try to find the mystery behind a mechanical man.
A whimsical movie about the golden age of film.  This film is a masterpiece.  Aside from the film history aspect, the story boils down to a friendship between two children, setting out on an adventure.

Rating Scale Explanation

The rating scale is simple. 1 is the worst 10 is the best and 5 is mediocre. 5.5 or greater is a movie that I at least find enjoyable. You could also think of 5 as a zero and 1 as a negative 5. I feel like that sounds even more convoluted.
